LogiMAT 2025: Leuze presents the smallest safety laser scanner on the market

Visitors to LogiMAT in Stuttgart can look forward to innovative sensor highlights from Leuze – including the new ultra-compact RSL 200 safety laser scanner. The Leuze trade fair team will be on site from March 11 to 13: Hall 3, Booth C60.

Owen, February 19, 2025 – You will have to take a closer look at the highlight from Leuze at LogiMAT 2025. That is because the RSL 200 is the smallest safety laser scanner on the market. Its ultra-compact design offers crucial advantages for system operators, AGV manufacturers and machine builders when it comes to sensor integration. Leuze will also be presenting further innovative sensor solutions for production and intralogistics – from RFID readers to laser scanners for contour measurement or AGV navigation.

Small, smaller, RSL 200
Its small dimensions make the RSL 200 from Leuze the most compact safety laser scanner currently available on the market. The powerful device with an operating range of three meters and a 275-degree scanning angle can be used extremely flexibly: The RSL 200 reliably safeguards machines and systems as well as automated guided vehicles or autonomous mobile robots. Visitors to the Leuze stand will also be able to experience just how easy the new ultra- compact safety laser scanner is to integrate.

Better by far: New RFID readers
The RFID readers from the RDH and RDU series will be among the innovations at LogiMAT as well. Thanks to reading ranges of up to 200 millimeters in the high-frequency range and up to two meters in the ultra-high-frequency range, users will find the right device for every requirement. The new RFID readers are therefore the ideal solution for reliably tracking every step in automated production lines.

Perfect precision for contour measurement and AGV navigation
The Sensor People from Leuze have also expanded their product portfolio with LiDAR technology. Trade fair visitors will be able to see the precision and detail accuracy of the two new laser scanner series ROD 300 and ROD 500 for themselves. The ROD 300 series’ devices reliably detect contours even in fast manufacturing and logistics processes. Thanks to their high scanning rates and angular resolution, the laser scanners of the ROD 500 series are optimally suited for navigation tasks.

But that's not all: Further sensor solutions for intralogistics applications on AGVs, stacker cranes, shuttles or continuous conveyors await visitors at the Sensor People from Leuze’s trade fair stand this year.
