2D-code identification

With two-dimensional codes, light and dark dots are arranged in a matrix. As a result, considerably more information can be stored in the same area than with a one-dimensional bar code. Thus, 2D-identification is ideally suited for additional applications, such as parts tracking, in which codes are directly affixed to the work piece.

In addition to 2D-codes, all mobile code readers from Leuze electronic also read bar codes and can, thus, be used very flexibly. Even with low contrast and on surfaces such as metal or plastic, the high-quality optics function absolutely reliably. Available as interfaces are RS 232, PS2, USB and Bluetooth.
