Whenever data needs to be communicated without a cable connection, optical devices for data transmission are needed. With these devices it is possible, e.g., in the case of moving system parts, to monitor the route in real time and ensure safe operation.

Optical data transmission for system construction

Infrared data transmission protects this series from interference. Systems are available for the common industrial interfaces including, among others, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet TCP/IP and Interbus. The ranges are stepped and reach a maximum transmission distance of 500 m.

  • Ranges up to 500m possible
  • Transmission rates up to 2Mbit/s
  • Network interfaces with integrated repeater function
  • Low ambient light sensitivity through special FSK method
